Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a celebration of Filipino Heritage. The sprawling estate is a showcase of Filipino talent, ingenuity and craftsmanship. FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLET
The Filipino culture, being a melting point of many influences, is complex yet distinct. Experience the uniqueness of authentic Filipino-Hispanic cuisine at the Marivent Café where dishes are cooked and server the traditional way. Taberna del Señor Pepe offers a variety of Spanish tapas, deli items, cocktails and cigars handrolled right before your eyes.

FUNCTION ROOMS
The Candaba House, originally built in 1780 can accommodate a small group for 20 persons to as much as a groups of 200 persons. The Baluiag House 2 can accommodate functions for 30-80 people. Instituto de las Bellas Artes, has function rooms for small groups of up to 40 people and a wide ballroom. La Plaza Mayor and El Centro serve as the resort's outdoor social activity centers. Both areas may be used for receptions and events and can accommodate 500-1,200 persons.

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is built on 400 hectares of land in Bagac, Bataan, surrounded by the Umagol River, the South China Sea, and a wide expanse of carabao-plowed field that extends to the mountain. Situated 151 kilometers from Manila, the 2 1/2-hour scenic and relaxing drive through NLEX and SCTEX may very well be a prelude to the experience of history.

Occassionally dotting the landscape of the pristine hilly expanse of Bataan are Death March markers, reminding one of the historical significance of Bataan. Other historical landmarks such as: the Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor), The Filipino-Japanese Friendship Marker, St. Catherine of Alexandria Church (one of the oldest churches in Bataan), the Surrender Site Marker, the 18th century St. Joseph Cathedral, the Fall of Bataan Market, are just a few minutes drive from the resort.

For the nature lover, a visit to Bagac will not be complete without seeing the nesting center of 3 of the 5 sea turtle species in the country, the Pawikan Center. You may also want to go bird-watching at Puerto Rivas where the migratory birds of the Peninsula can be seen; go jungle trekking at the Dinalupihan Nature Center or take a dip in the cool waters of Dunsualn Falls - all easily accessible.
